Re: December!

I need some suggestions. Life has been a bit of a bummer the last few months, and the negativity is weighing heavily on my soul.

I want to read something light, fun, positive and happy (but not self-helpy or preaching). Probably something fiction. Christmasy is fine.

Anything?

Now: a nonfiction called Unfuckolgy by Amy Alkon. I have no idea why I ordered it; I usually roll my eyes at self-help books. But I will give it a fair shot.
I started Ready Player Two awhile ago, trying to get into it. So far, it's just sad lol.

Re: January!

I'm impressed Blush! I keep starting books and getting distracted and starting something else. I can't stay focused :paranoid

I'm starting Ready Player 2 tonight. I loved the first one (SO much better than the movie) and I'm excited to see where the story goes after the first book.

Re: June: what are you reading?

Anyone else see the "Top 100 Books in America" list that Random House put out? Shamefully, I have only read EIGHT on this list. That's horrible. I'm thinking of starting to check these off! :paranoid

Re: March: What are you reading?

Changed gears and reading Big Little Lies LOL. I have the series going on my DVR, and I want to read the book before I watch it (and/or accidentally see spoilers).

Hoping to finish it this week!

Re: February! What are you reading?

Finished Mudrer on the Orient Express. I feel like I'm missing something with Agatha Christie. Maybe it's me? I felt like there were too many characters, not enough development of their stories, personalities etc, the ending of the book/case was quickly wrapped up, and done. I'm not sure what I was ...

Re: January! What are you reading?

Korie, is that by Liane Moriarty? I love her, but Three Wishes is my least favorite of all her books. It does pick up eventually, though. Yes, it is. It is moving kinda slow, and I'm failing to see why she keeps throwing in other peoples memories. Why? :headscratch I'm sure I'll finish it, since he...

Re: January! What are you reading?

Korie, Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie? That's a classic! I love Agatha Christie. Yep. I've never read it (probably should get back into reading some of the classics :paranoid ) but it's coming out as a movie in 2017 and I know I'll see the movie (hello Johnny Depp) so I feel like I...
