I gave up on The Plot Against America. Fabulous idea, terrible execution. I'd never read anything by Philip Roth before, and I hated his style. His sentences are so long you have no idea how they started after a while! Besides, not much seemed to happen. For a book with the word "plot" on...

I just started "Everyone Worth Knowing" or whatever it's called - from "The Devil Wears Prada" chick. Wha??? Crystal reading best-seller, fluff, pulp fiction???? *faint* But seriously, how is that? I heard that "The Devil Wears Prada" is actually a rather crappy book.

I am still reading Be Happy at Work. I am also reading Making ADD Work, which is a guidebook for how to function with ADD in the workplace.

(Now that I'm in "transition" I'm going to be reading far more self-help books than usual.)

I am reading Not Buying It by Judith Levine. It's a little slow to start, but I'm really interested in her experience of not buying anything other than necessities for a year. I may need to adopt some of her philosophies!

I cannot believe it's December! :crystal

I'm reading a great book called The Wedding by Dorothy West. It was made into a tv movie by Oprah a few years back. I caught part of the movie over the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to read the book. It's very good!
