Dense or not, I always read books straight through ;)

We'll see what kind of mood I'm in tomorrow - dense or fluffy.

I just finished Walking Shadow by Robert B. Parker. It's not at all the type of book I'd normally read (mass-market mystery), but my neighbor loaned it to me and therefore I felt obligated to read it. It was actually surprisingly good... completely far-fetched and ridiculous, but a really fast read ...

Confession: I have no clue who Heath Ledger or Michelle Williams are. I know Heath Ledger is in Brokeback Mountain, but I can't picture what he looks like and I have no clue what else he has been in. I don't think I've ever even HEARD of Michelle Williams.

Yay for Jesus frosting!!!!!!!!!

Eye of the Albatross by Carl Safina. Safina kicks ass :)

I keep forgetting to read No Logo... it's buried at the back of our bookshelf, so I keep picking up books from my stack of library books instead.

I just finished the book --- it was a quick, enjoyable read. It certainly would never go on my Top 10 Favorites list, but it was a nice way to pass the evening :) There were a few comments in there that were a bit strange, though... I'm curious if anyone else would pick up on them.

I don't know who's in it, but it is a movie. The movie looked a little too cheesy for me, though, so I think I'll just stick to the book!

I've been meaning to read the Grisham book ( Skipping Christmas ) for years now. Unfortunately, it's never at the library around Christmastime! ETA: Holy cow... I just checked my library's website and they actually have multiple copies on the shelf right now! I think I'll swing by the library after ...

I wondered that, too... and found this: Although most of us are searching for Waldo among the crowd in the illustrations of this book, some folks have discovered something else entirely—purportedly a topless sunbather. The book was challenged by libraries in Michigan on the grounds that "on s...

I'm about to start The Book of Laughter and Forgetting by Milan Kundera.

It's been sitting on my end table for the last few days, but I'm always so exhausted after studying that the thought of reading puts me to sleep :(

Oh, and how one father killed himself after his son died during their refuge from Afghanistan. That also made me very sick. I haven't read the book and don't intend to, but are you saying that you dislike books that include suicide? I can understand being saddened by suicide, but not the point that...

Okay, Disney: The Mouse Betrayed COMPLETELY sucked. The first part was okay, if a bit sensationalist and unbelievable. The middle part was pretty boring and I skipped much of it (I don't care about the details of the movies that Miramax makes). They completely lost me at the end. When they started d...
