I just finished The Fifth Vial by Michael Palmer. If you like medical thrillers he does a good job.

I'm working on Twilight by Stephenie Meyer which is the first book in a teenage vampire series. I know, in my head I'm still 16.

I just finished HP and Order of Phoenix. Yes, I know I'm late to the game. Its ok because I'm #46 in line for the last HP at the library. I'll be done all the others then. I"m working on Family Fortune - a story about a wealthy Boston family who loses all their $$. Its good fluff. In my pile I ...

I work 50 hour weeks, have a dh and a toddler and generally read 8-10 books a month. Its one of my favorite things to do so I just make time for it. My favorite vacation was a week alone with a stack of books. :) I don't watch tv anymore - I just read. Although lately I've been really into watching ...

I just finished Coal Run by Tawni O'Dell. I really like her style - really nice character development.

I just started the new Jodi Picoult, Nineteen Minutes. I love her. I imagine I will whip through it this weekend (assuming both boys cooperate!).

Jamie - I went through all of Jodi's books last year too. Funny, some are way better than others. My Sister's Keeper is still my favorite.

I"m reading the 2nd in the 1st Ladies Detective Agency (whatever) by Alexander McCall Smith. So far it's ok - very light.

Spudd that is way cool! I am starting Good Grief by Lolly Winston. A Blush-approved book. I went to the library the other day with a list of Blush books and this was the only one they had. I also have Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire on my list. Its a twist on the Cinderella stor...

I've been on a roll this week. I finished Marley and Me which was cute and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time which I also liked. Up next is a Chuck Paluniak (sp?) novel, Choke. He's the guy who wrote Fight Club and apparently he's amazing. This will be my first of his novels although...

I love the Panic! At the Disco CD. It is really awesome.

I went to KFC for dinner tonight (it sucked unfortunately).

I can't motivate to lose weight. I'm thinking of hitting my dr up for ideas. I *know* what to do I just don't want to do it.

I'm madly in love with Jaxie.

This weekend was a good reading weekend: Babyville - Jane Greene -- This was ok. Sometimes I really like her books and sometimes they're just meh. Dumping Billy - Olivia Goldsmith - This was really good although I felt it pushed the gay man as best friend thing a little hard. It just seemed forced -...

I don't have any suggestions but I can commiserate. We didn't plan to tell anyone our name but my mom tormented me so much (actually stopped talking to my dad because of it and he called to force me to tell her) that I gave in and told. As I told her I was crying and she misunderstood what I said an...

You're right Annie - its not fuzzy really it just this gross blobby thing. The fruit fly thing really isn't much but I remember a non-science person being truly grossed out when I pointed it out to her. Say you have some fruit on a table for a while. Fruit flies appear. Where do they come from? They...

Sorry but Dr. Rowan has to butt in. Its not the white that is the chix but rather the little "fuzzy" white blob attached to the yolk. I always pull it out when I make scrambled eggs because it freaks me out.
