I finished my Larry Niven book of short stories (which was excellent, btw) and now I'm reading "Cause Celeb" by Helen Fielding. So far, it's pretty good.

It's amazing how many people don't have firm handshakes. When I'm interviewing, I always shake hands with the people and so often it's like shaking hands with a wet fish. I hope I don't shake hands like a wet fish. I'm reading a collection of short stories by Larry Niven now. I'm enjoying it so far,...

I just picked up "The Lincoln Lawyer" at the airport. It's okay. Standard lawyer thriller type thing.

I prefer softcovers, because I do a lot of reading in bed, and it's easier to hold up a softcover.

I picked up "The Zero Game" by Brad Meltzer from the markdown table when I needed a book to read to keep me occupied while I was waiting for floor guys to come to my house. So far it's a real page-turner. One thing happened that completely shocked the hell out of me!

I finally finished The Mirror Maze (took forever, because the chapters are super short and I read a chapter before bed every day). I just started "In A Sunburned Country" by Bill Bryson. I loved his other book "A Walk in the Woods" so I'm hoping this one will be good too. It's ab...

Crystal, I didn't want to tell her because I didn't want to spoil it for her. :lol But yeah, I was the same way. Kept waiting for something good to happen. No dice.

Annster, I absolutely loved both "The Time Traveller's Wife" and "The Kite Runner". Both fabulous.

I'm still reading the same books I was last time I posted, so I won't repeat myself.

My neighbours when I was growing up had 2 cats, Albert and Oliver. Their names always cracked me up. My cat was named Fluffy, thankyouverymuch. :lol

I did hear that. Did you hear that the guy they originally asked to do the screenplay told them he loved the name "Snakes on a Plane" - that it was the best name for a movie EVER. He said something like "don't you dare change it to something like UsAir Flight Who-Gives-A-Fuck", a...
