Can I add another suggestion to our list of books?

What about Odd Girl Out by Rachael Simmons? I've had that book for a while and I've been meaning to read it forever! It might be fun to read it with a group!

Has anyone started reading our first book???

I still haven't bought it! I was going to go to Amazon.com to save money, but now I'm thinking that maybe I will just bite the bullet and go to the bookstore.

Now, get to reading or Ruth will put the smackdown on you! :whip

Oh wow - thanks :) I've been wanting to get into "thrillers" as well, so this totally fits the bill!

Novels about hitting the lotto?

Does anyone know of a novel where the characters win the lotto? I don't know why, but I'm interested in reading that type of book :P

Wahoo! I've been looking for a reason to read some David Sedaris (without feeling like a tool for reading whatever is popular). Yay!

. . . and I'm slightly disturbed. This is a really engrossing story, but there are certain plot twists (that I won't get into for fear of spoiling it for someone else) that truly bothered me. Those who have read it know what I'm talking about . . . The main character has just turned 18 in the story....
