I've dropped out because I've been really busy and haven't been reading anything. Plus, it seems like very few people want to discuss. I think a vote is a great idea. I think this is another problem - I was fairly disappointed with the response to the Kite Runner - especially given what a powerful ...

I'm also in the middle of the Chronicles of Narnia. I forget which book - the third or fourth. It's really good. Is it supposed to be a childrens book? I don't know . . . I've never heard of this series (but I have heard of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). The filmmakers are heavily marketing...

Holiday Reading?

Does anyone ever do any "holiday-themed" reading? I usually don't, but this year I decided to pick up Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris.

What about you?

You know how you're thinking all day, you don't want to come home and have to think too? :-? Totally - that's why I watch nothing but the Style Network and music videos :P You can borrow it if you like, but I'll want it back since my mom gave it to me as a present, and she'd be mad if I got rid of ...

Um... I'm reading Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella. :-? How do you like it, Crystal? I've read all but the last book of the Shopaholic series. I like Kinsella, but I sort of needed a break from her style of writing, y'know? Your a literary person - what are your thoughts? Worth the read? Ca...

I want to read something gripping!

I have been reading non-fiction books lately and while they're all well and good, I really want to be whisked away by a story. When I read The Kite Runner , I got so wrapped up in it that I would miss my subway stop in the morning - THAT is the type of reading experience I'm looking for next. I have...
