What was your overall impression of the book? Did you like it? I loved it. It was one of my favorite books in the past... 2 years or so. I thought it was very original (even though time travel is not original she managed to make it different). Were you confused at all by all the time traveling? Not ...

Oops. I did, didn't I? Sorry, I'd forgotten. What was your overall impression of the book? Did you like it? Were you confused at all by all the time traveling? What did you think of the episode of Clare and Gomez? Some people said they found the parts where Henry showed up for Clare as a child were ...

No, he was an alcoholic and drug addict.

Check it out.

It's pretty good.

I'm reading A Million Little Pieces. I like it, but I'm ready for some hope now. I'm on page 180.

I should definitely stop reading it when I'm eating. He pukes at least once every other page, and he describes it very vividly. Is that a word?

Nah, I wouldn't know how to do that. But I'll be happy to participate.

ETA: Wait, does that mean only post a few questions? That doesn't sound like rocket science...

No, but I'm gonna start his book today. I've already read the first 3 pages or so, and it seems unputdownable!

It is, LB, but it's kinda slow. Don't expect too much action. Though right now it's 2001 (the book starts at her birth in 1967 and then goes to 1985) and there's been a lot of tension between muslims and non-muslims in their community, and I'm curious to know what will happen to our hero after Septe...

I'm reading Brick Lane by Monica Ali. It's a bit slow, but it's right up my alley. I'm enjoying it.

Here. Be careful, though. It contains spoilers. I was looking and the author has only posted a few words, but it's nice anyway. And it looks like a good discussion.

I'm reading Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz and The Romantic Movement by Alain de Botton. The former is pure fun, the latter is fun with philosophy. I'm enjoying them both.

I'm not, but I certainly intend to. Everybody says it's unputdownable. You know that book website Crystal introduced me to, chicklit? They have a thread about this book and I think the author has posted to it (on it? what's the preposition here?). Let me know if you want a link. I'm glad you're enjo...

The Little Friend? Is it the one by Donna Tartt? It is unbelievably boring. I couldn't read past page 160 or so. If you wanna read her, I'd recommend her other one, The Secret History.

I'm reading Reversible Errors by Scott Turow. I think I like it, but the language is SO hard for me (cop slang) that sometimes I barely know what they're talking about. I might need your help.
