She actually said grapefruit????? Um...wtf? I think that when she leaves, at the airport, you should hand her a gift bag - really pretty and be all, "I just wanted to give you this to show there are no hard feelings, yadda yadda yadda - and have a grapefruit inside!!!

Jax, about Cujo...the first time I read it I didn't find it scary. I kept thinking, dude its a DOG, wtf? Just kill it or whatever. I mean, I loved the book, thought it was well written and all but didn't get why a rabid St Bernard would be that scary. Then I got one. Holy crap! I never knew the stre...

Thanks for the tip! I've been meaning to go get a library card and I will make sure to look that up. Sometimes it is so hard to find a good horror novel.

I read a mix of horror, thriller, suspense and pure brain candy. I only read the books suggested in the book club to broaden my reading comfort zone because if left to my own devices I'd read Cujo for the 25th time.

What was your overall impression of the book? Did you like it? Yes I did, it sucked me in right away. I found I was able to just totally believe in the story and the characters. Were you confused at all by all the time traveling? At first just a little. But once I got the format he was using I was f...
