I didn't read much while I was away, we were too busy. When we got home I read People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry. It was cute.

I am back to The Girls in the Garden.

The Paris Apartment was ok.

The I read The Friend by Sigrid... something. Not for me.

I brought a small paperback: The Girls in the Garden by Lisa Jewell.

I finished In Five Years. I loved it.

Now I have The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley.

The Husbands was really good, I am going to look up her other book.

I'm done 40 so far this year!

Next: In Five Years by Rebecca Serle. I think Silvia read it?

I finished That Summer: pretty good.

Then I read Beach Read by Emily Henry. 4 stars. I laughed and was a little teary.

Now I have The Husbands by Chandler Baker. I am 120 pages in and it's really intriguing. (Do not read during a time of marital resentment, or maybe do?)

I finished The Love Story of Missy Carmichael by Beth Morrey. Really good, kind of reminded me of A Man Called Ove.

Next up is That Summer by Jennifer Weiner.

The dialogue in the hockey book was awful. I made it to page 83. No 9 year old talks like that. The people were pretty awful, too. The Accidental Odyssey was ok.

I just finished The Hare by Melanie Finn. Compelling but certainly not enjoyable. I wanted to put it found once I was halfway through because it was not pleasant, but I had to know how it turned out.

Now I have Checkout 19 by Claire-Louise Bennett.

Silvia I liked the complex family relationships. I was applying insights to people I know.

A French Wedding also great. Slow paced, but rich in drama.

Now I have An Accidental Odyssey by KC Dyer.

I'm going to add both of those to my list, Rowan!

I finished Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty. Family drama, very good.

Now I have A French Wedding by Hannah Tunnicliffe.

It definitely wasn't my favourite of hers, mainly because I was annoyed by the characters in the first half, until I figured out what was really going on.

I finished The Right Swipe. It was cute.

Now I have Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty.

The No Show was pretty good. Then I read Fragile by Sarah Hilary (tense and a bit weird, but gripping), and then an older one called The Hive by Gil Hornby. It was about a bunch of school mums, clique problems etc.

Now I have a romance called The Right Swipe by Alisha Rai.

I finished The Last Thing He Told Me. I'd give it 4.5 stars.

Now I have The No Show by Beth O'Leary.

I finished Free Love by Tessa Hadley. It was good; I liked the setting of late '60s London.

Now I have The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave.

I finished Her Perfect Life. Ok, but sort of unsatisfying.

Now I have Free Love by Tessa Hadley. I picked it up because on the front cover, Marian Keyes is quoted "I LOVED this book!"

I finished The Switch. It was cute, not my favourite by her.

Back to Her Perfect Life

Scratch that book; R surprised me by picking up my hold at the library. He went in, didn't have my card, just said, "My wife (first name) has a hold. She's a regular?" They laughed and grabbed it off the shelf. Small towns, man.

I finished Happiness For Beginners. It was very gentle, kinda cute.

Now I have Her Perfect Life by Hank Phillippi Ryan.
