Janet Evanovich does a great, funny series about a female bails bondsman. They are called One for the Money, Two for the Dough, etc. I also like Stephen King Fantasy for good brain candy

Silvia, we're the exact opposite! If I really love a book, I drag it out. You only get one first chance to discover something really fantastic. (You can reread it of course, but it's just not the same.) If it's a crappy book, I try to blow through it, mostly skimming. There's a couple I gave up on ...

I like softcovers for all the aforementioned reasons, plus - I find hardcovers harder to read with one hand. And sense I do everything with a book in one hand (sweep, walk, cook, etc. *lol*), I need something light!
