What are you reading? (May 07)

The Hungry Tide by Ghosh: I don't know if I'll finish it - I'm kind of bored YOU on a diet: It has a lot of fluff, but if you just read the gray sections, it is very helpful Back Roads: I read this a while ago, but didn't realize it was the same book until I was half way through. It was good, so I f...

Out of curiosity, were any of you the victims of bullying in school? Yes, I was horribly bullied from about 3rd grade all the way through highschool. In highschool a girl came up behind me when my arms were full of books and pulled my hair as hard as she could. Another girl spread a rumor that I ha...

Silvia, we're the exact opposite! If I really love a book, I drag it out. You only get one first chance to discover something really fantastic. (You can reread it of course, but it's just not the same.) If it's a crappy book, I try to blow through it, mostly skimming. There's a couple I gave up on ...

I like softcovers for all the aforementioned reasons, plus - I find hardcovers harder to read with one hand. And sense I do everything with a book in one hand (sweep, walk, cook, etc. *lol*), I need something light!
