I decided not to read this one.. I don't know if anyone else is reading it. It really didn't appeal to me.

Woo hoo! I love employee sales. My company has one every year and I always come home with boatloads of stuff. (I finally ran out of the bodywash I bought at a sale like 4 years ago!)

It was "Excuse me while I puke in a towel!". Because apparently when Marie's Jeff was a kid, and he was sick, his mom used to give him a towel to take to bed to use in case he couldn't make it to the washroom.

I just finished listening to "Oracle Night" - weird, but good. Now I just started listening to "Everything is Illuminated". So far it's cracking me up. Aly, if you haven't read this, you should get the audiobook. The narrator for the Ukrainian parts has Bo's accent. And it's real...

I know I *just* changed the tagline, but I gotta say, I think "Excuse me while I puke in a towel!" is better.

Freaky! Does the makeup come off in the wash? I'd definitely buy cheap-ass towels if I were you. Maybe you could subtly put some of those makeup-removal disposable cloths in their washroom.

I love Douglas Coupland. I'm pretty sure I read Hey Nostradamus, but I completely can't remember what it was about any more.

I'm reading "Lunar Descent" by Allen Steele. It's a sci fi. It's pretty good.

First of all, I want to say I loved this book. I loved it so much I wanted to keep it! (I borrowed it from my dad, who hated it. Why did I give it back? Mainly because my mom hadn't read it and I would feel bad taking back a gift. Anyways, back on track.) I loved it most while he was on the raft. I ...

I think for the vaccination debate you can expect the author of any book to be biased in one direction or the other. I can totally see getting 2 books, one pro and one con, and then taking both their viewpoints into account.

In the car I'm still listening to A Confederacy of Dunces.

I finally finished Prizzi's Honor last night, and am about to start into Life of Pi. I was kind of disappointed in Prizzi's Honor. There was a review in huge letters on the cover that said "The surprise ending will knock your reading glasses off!". And at the end, I wasn't that surprised. ...

I just got Life of Pi from my folks on the weekend. But I'm still in the middle of Prizzi's Honor, so I'm all torn about what to do. I'm hoping I can get a lot of reading done this weekend when we're on vacation. My dad said Life of Pi sucked (which sucks, because I bought it for him as a gift). I h...
