Yup. It's 9 short stories. I nominated the Namesake for the Book Club but everyone wanted Interpreter of Maladies instead. :huffy But I like short stories too.

I have Interpreter of Maladies too from the library! I am going to start it today.

I finished The Namesake and got the recommendation from here, so thanks Crystal. :smug It was good.
