Hardy is definitely not lighter than Zen. His books are totally depressing. :lol

What about HP7? You're not into Pottermania? :talktohand

Oh I'm totally into Pottermania. I've read all of those books at least twice. Actually...I will go buy the book, but I think it doesn't come out until Saturday. Maybe I'll just wait until then. I'm going to have to read it right away or else the ending will probably get leaked to me, and then I'll be pissed.

A quandary I am mulling myself, since I don't want to buy the hardcover and have enough books to read anyway. :think

You do know Saturday is two days from now, right? :lol

Lullabies for Little Criminals was intense. I'm so glad that as a 12 year old I had no knowledge of drugs, prostitution or foster care.

Then I just finished Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock. It's for "young adults" but I loved it. It's told from the point of view of a 15 year old girl who lives on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Read it! Read it! It won't take you very long!

ETA: Now I'm reading Wikinomics.

While on vacation, I finished "Persuasion" by Jane Austen (loved it!), and started "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Outlander is definitely refreshingly easy to read after Austen.

For pleasure
Harry Potter 7
A Map of the World (though it was a struggle to finish)

I'm currently reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It is FANTASTIC. I can't put it down.

April, ZATAOMM is Olof's favorite book ... I've never read it myself, but I keep saying I'll get around to it.

Sílvia, I haven't read The Virgin Blue, but I've had it on my shelf for ages. I did like Falling Angels (or is is Falling?), but I've only read her books in Swedish. I leafed through a couple in English while back, and I didn't like her writing style at all, so I think I'll stick with Swedish where she's concerned!

Right now I'm reading Until I Find You, by John Irving. I'm loving it!

Beverly, I read Falling Angels in Portuguese and didn't like it, and this one in English, and didn't love it, but liked it enough to read it fast (for me). So I guess for me she's much better in English! Or maybe this book's just better.

I finished "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon, which was really good aside from the corny love scenes.

I started the new Harry Potter last night.
