I tried to read Waisted but 11 pages in it was a big nope from me.
Now I have The First Mistake by Sandie Jones.

Finished Before She Was Found by Heather Gudenkauf. It was very gripping, as usual.
Now I'm reading a Brazilian, The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão:

I loved The Invisible Life, no idea how well it translated into English since there's so much Brazilianness to it, but I highly recommend it.
Now I'm reading another Brazilian, this one a WW2 drama not translated into other languages.

I finished The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. I can't believe I hadn't read it when it came out, but it seems even more foreboding now.
Now I have Vacationland by John Hodgman. I love him and expect this will hit me right in the funny bone.

I finished Vacationland. It made me laugh out loud in places, but was also a bit introspective.
Now I have The Lies They Tell by Gillian French.
