That makes me want to pull someone's hair out.
Are you guys even remotely embarrassed that you read Wil Wheaton's blog?
Let me tell you something else that annoys me-- people who keep public blogs and are boring as sin. I mean, I know I would be boring, so I don't keep a public one. I am not aiming this remark at anyone here, so don't misunderstand. But gads.

Hey. You be careful.
I think you use that Holy ____ Batman phrase.

I SO don't say "Batman"
. I'll search to prove it.

And let's not forget that it's your primary superhero match.

Yes . . . which is why I only tell a select few members of the Nerd Brigade. I have had a crush on him since Stand By Me. Don't ask why - I can't explain it either.
I'm only just now adjusting to the fact that he's *sniff, sniff* married

WORD UP! I so hate that. Sometimes I find myself reading them and I'm like, "Dude - I'm bored just reading this . . . I can't imagine living it!" Hence, I tend to post more opinions on my blog, not "today-I-did-this, today-I-did-that" type stuff . . . I am booooring . . . I know this.

It's like the only time in MY LIFE I've ever said that, so I don't feel bad.

Okay, I don't know the proper useage of lie and lay. And I'm ALWAYS embarassed to say either one.
Crystal, let's also add to the list people who complain/remark about being tired. Annoying. I can't stand banal conversations like that. Maybe that's why I have a hard time making friends. Eh, whatever.

How did you get those stats? Like are you sure she wasn't calling me sweetie?

Annie - "banal" is the perfect word. Saying "I'm tired" is like saying "the sky is blue." It's like it doesn't need mentioning.
Aly - I could go back and check. I just assumed she was talking about Jeff.

Sidenote on the being tired thing:
In law school, this girl would always come up and ask me how I was. I'd say "fine" 'cause I didn't know her very well. She would then ALWAYS proceed to tell me I looked tired. Fucker. I felt like smacking her in the face. How rude.
Think of "lay" as "to put." "Lay it on the table" = "put it on the table." You lie down. However, the past tense of "lie" is "lay" so if you'd say, "When I lay down earlier I did XYZ."

Oh, I'm never going to be able to keep that straight! How confusing! I'm usually good at memorizing irregular grammar things but this one feels wrong. "When I lay down earlier I realized how tired I was." It just doesn't roll of the tongue right. "When I layed" feels better and that's what I'm going to say. ha!

By all means, if you love it, keep it up!
According to the Four Agreements, it's my own issue that it bugs me.

Oh good one Curvy. I really hate orientated. I've heard it used on television before. It is misused so often that I started to think I was wrong for thinking these people should be saying oriented.
