Dude it was a HUGE decision. The lighter yellow was the more perfect shade but a slightly less comfy fabric - but a more durable fabric. The darker yellow was a little too dark/orangy but super fuzzy fabric but wouldn't wear as well. AND they didn't have fabric samples you could take home.
I mean, talk about pressure!

LOL! I'd love to see a decorating show where Crystal and Marie are the two hosts.

Yes! I would pay to see that!

Marie spends the entire show discussing the pros and cons of each colour, while Crystal sits there going "Meh, it's all going to be the colour of baby vomit in a few months..."

@ Spudd.
I still need to:
make the darn stars
hang them up on the perfect hooks which I cannot yet find
paint the lamp shade and apply strategically placed blue ribbon in the perfect shade (which I already have but the paint I'm mixing myself)
find the perfect little clock for the table by the glider
find the perfect baskets for the bookshelves, or give in and order the ones that go with it from Pottery Barn and ignore the price tag

Excuse me while I puke in a towel!
Kidding! I wanted a glider but we ran out of room with MIL's bed needing to be in the baby room.
I would so pay for that show too. That would be awesome.

Crystal empties out a shoebox
"I'm ready to have a kid! I got the crib ready!"

I thought it would be emptying out a drawer! LOL

Oh, and...(just to further nauseate Crystal)...I thought once I got everything in there it wouldn't bother me that the bookshelves are more of a cream white than a true white while the rest of the furniture is a true white.
Well, it IS bothering me.

Sure, Aly, once it grows. A newborn doesn't need all that space...

I know I *just* changed the tagline, but I gotta say, I think "Excuse me while I puke in a towel!" is better.

That's so funny, I was thinking the same thing.
Aly, you're not allowed to say anything funny for the rest of the day.

Get the bookshelves you want. It is so worth it in the long run. Or better yet - give the computer to Jeff.

I went to Pottery Barn Kids. I cannot remember which one you wanted, but most are on sale ($30-$50 off). If that helps.
