It's on my shelf in the "prolong" category. For some reason when it comes to books, I am a pleasure-withholder. :lol

Bringing this back because I've just seen the movie. Sniff...it's so beautiful... very faithful to the book. Everybody, go read it! And watch the movie!

I can't see the movie, because I haven't read the book! I will get to the book soon, but I have so many of them!

*eternal dilemma*

Oh come on, Crystal! Can't this one cut the line? It's short!

My thing is this. (and I know I'm weird) When I find an author I love, I slow down reading all their works. I need to saaaaavour! Slooooooowly!

You only have one first time. :giggle

Yeah, I read 'Interpreter of Maladies" and it was SOOOO good, that now I'm like "But if I read this one, there'll be nothing left!" (she doesn't have anything else yet, does she?)

I'm all delayed-gratification with books. How tantric of me. :lol

I'm listening to it on audiobook right now! I just started yesterday so I'm not far into it yet.

DH is going to some weird event/dinner (apparently a combination of Mexican wrestling and burlesque??) thing in LA with Kal Penn in a few weeks. His friend has a friend who's friends with him and is bringing him to this thing. I dared DH to say "Doogie Howser just stole my car" at some point during the evening.

He's lucky I'm not going. I would have a hard time keeping my hands off Kal Penn.

I didn't even know Kal Penn until yesterday, but that sounds like fun.

Hope you enjoy the book!

Ahem, Silvia - you will be happy to know... I just started reading the book. :smug

Man, she's so effortless with her words. I think I hate her for that. :lol
